Lupo: Our Playful, Loving Farm Dog

By Farm

Meet Lupo, our lively and affectionate farm dog, born on September 17, 2024. He is a Saarloos Wolfhound, a breed known for its strong bond with family, intelligence, and sensitivity. Large and powerful, he may seem imposing at first, but in reality, Lupo is gentle, playful, and full of heart.

On our farm, Lupo is completely free to roam. He runs across the fields, leaps between herbs, keeps an eye on the donkeys, and explores every corner with curiosity. He chooses when to come close and when to enjoy his own adventures. His freedom is a natural part of his life, and he thrives moving through the farm at his own pace.

We want all guests to know: Lupo is not leashed. If someone is uneasy around large dogs, it’s important to be aware. But don’t worry – Lupo is incredibly friendly, especially with children, and he watches over everyone on the farm – both people and dogs.

He loves playing with other dogs – male or female, young or old – and his playful energy is part of his charm. For our guests, this means: Lupo is curious and friendly but never bothers anyone while eating or resting. Guests with dogs can let them run free for a short while, as long as they don’t disturb others. Otherwise, we ask that dogs remain leashed so that everyone stays relaxed and safe.

Another important point: we place great value on keeping the farm clean. Anyone bringing a dog should ensure the grounds stay free of waste. Dog bags are available on-site to make this easy and convenient.

Lupo is more than just a dog – he is part of our family and our farm. He reminds us daily how beautiful life in nature can be: free, playful, attentive, and full of energy. His joyful leaps, curious eyes, and loving nature make him an unforgettable part of our farm life – for both us and our guests.
